Saanjh respect their elders a lot. They also honor their youth. Young children are greatly seen as the future. Some of the highest paying jobs involve young children. The older Saanjh are seen to be the most important right after young children. They hold most the high-ranking positions, though occasionally a younger Saanjh will especially exceptional.

In Marubia Saanjh can start working and driving at 15. They can use drugs and alcohol at age 18 as long as they're with someone over 25.

Saanjh don't tend to think of showing more skin as sexy. Perhaps attractive but it's far less stigmatized. It is also very common to go barefoot. Those that work in factories, on farms, or other places that may be harmful to feet will wear work shoes, and some Saanjh wear shoes for fashion reasons but a lot of Saanjh just go barefoot, especially inside.

Ethnicities

Deno

The Deno make up the most of the populace. They’ve lived near the ocean since history began. The Deno value intelligence and ingenuity. They don’t look at the arts as being as important. The Deno own most the large companies.
Deno tend to have dark skin with light sparkles/stars.

Heneth

History has often pitted the Heneth against the Deno. The Heneth are from the foothills. They started as farmers. A lot of Heneth still live as farmers. Heneth value the arts, dance, design, visual arts. Heneth have huge families and tend to live together in huge family complexes.
Heneth tend to have light skin and dark stars/sparkles. But they can also be anything.

Farash

The Farash live mostly in their own settlements in the mountains. They’re solo people. The children leave home at 15 and they rarely live past 40. They live off the land. The rare few Farash that make it to the cities tend to try to learn the ways of the Deno with their own twists.
Farash are the most likely to have other skin colors and bright stars/sparkles.
